4Security was formed in 2002. The company was formed by David Ryan and Ray Shimmins who bring over 40 years experience between them to the business. Based at Centauri House, 1 Sandyford Village, Sandyford, Dublin 18, the focus of the company is to provide integrated security solutions for residential and commercial customers in Dublin.

We recognise that a huge number of unregulated alarm systems were installed in South Dublin homes in the 70`s, 80`s and 90`s and a large number of these systems have fallen into disuse, disrepair and are obsolete. As such therefore we can provide a solution for a second generation system, upgrading, restoring and replacing these systems so the householder has a completed state of the art security system meeting their needs today, utilising todays and tomorrows technology and complying with the IS199 standard EN 50131:1-1997 which is the current standard.

Systems can be monitored or self contained depending on the circumstances and requirements of the customers. Also with the huge amount of urban developmentnin the south county Dublin area there is a vital need for a strong locally based security company to provide advice and solutions for the new inhabitants of the many new home si the area.

4Security will always survey your home and provide a written quotation by e-mail, fax or post prior to installation. Post installation the system will be subject to a handover and quality check by our operations manager and a completion certificate will be issued to confirm the system conforms to the IS199 standard. This will enable the householder to secure a rebate off their home insurance usually 10% in the case of unmonitored systems and 20% in the case of monitored systems.
